Elia products are made by 12BY12 Design, a company recently formed by ex advertising and marketing executive Rey Tabarrok and her engineer and architect husband Michael Gross. Inspired by their daughter, the couple conceived of 12BY12 Design to combine great design and earth-friendly materials to create useful products that appeal to the imagination and inspire creativity. 12BY12 Design's first product, the Elia Mini Chair, is sized especially for kids.
